Microsoft Campus Agreement

We are part of a Microsoft software licensing system called the "Campus Agreement" where every current student, faculty member, and administrative staff member is licensed for one copy** of:

 Core and Enterprise CAL (Client Access for Windows, Forefront Antivirus, Exchange Ent, Office Communicator Std/Ent, Config Mgr, SharePoint Ent, Operations Manager, Windows Rights Management)



 Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP)



Current students, faculty and staff may download five copies of Microsoft Office from or one copy of all other items from*.

* The faculty/staff copy of Office is for Thomas work-related purposes only, on one computer only, and it will be installed only while employed at Thomas. For an unrestricted home copy for faculty/staff, go here instead.

This agreement allows those mentioned above to not only use these products on home computers, but to also use them on college-owned computers. IT Services has installed these products on all college-owned computers.

This campus agreement does not provide at-home technical support, but you may purchase that service from Microsoft if you wish.

Graduates are allowed to take and own the current version of Windows when they leave Thomas. All other students leaving Thomas must remove the software.  A non-Thomas branded version of Microsoft Office 365 can continue to be purchased for a monthly fee upon graduation or leaving.

When you download Microsoft Campus Agreement software from the Kivuto  On the Hub website you are supplied with a download link and a product key.  After you have downloaded your software and received your key you have the following options to maintain access to your software in case of computer failure or replacement:

  1. Make a copy of the product key and the downloaded file and keep them in a safe location.

  2. Pay a fee for twenty four months of access to the product key and download through your On the Hub account.

  3. Call On the Hub at 1-888-396-1447 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. and arrange to pay a retrieval fee for your product key.
