Thomas College - BS '97, M.B.A. '11
Best part of your job:
Working directly with our fabulous students! They keep me young. Or at least they try!
Tips for college success:
Don’t worry about what you “should do” after high school or where you “should go” to college. Make a decision that’s right for you.
Favorite Waterville restaurant:
The Last Unicorn
Most memorable college class (If you went to Thomas.):
Probably Composition class with Dog Wallace. Really, how can you forget someone who barks at you? (He still does, by the way…)
If I didn’t work in Admissions, I’d be:
A rock star!
Why you decided to work at the Thomas?
It was completely by accident that I found out there was an open position in Admissions. I had called a friend who worked at Thomas just to chat and she mentioned the job. As it turns out, applying for it was one of the best decisions of my life.
Where you're most likely to be found hanging out on campus?
In the café eating Janet’s amazing desserts…which is why I am so glad we have an awesome Athletic center where I can work them off!
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three items would you bring?
IPod, Kindle and sunscreen

“Whether you think you can or can’t, you’re right.” - Henry Ford
Favorite thing to do in Waterville:
I love to go the shops and restaurants downtown. Outside of city limits, you’ll often find my family hiking the Kennebec Trail system or on one of the many lakes and ponds! We spend a lot of time on our boat.
Family members that attend(ed) Thomas:
My husband, Michael – class of ’98!
